At UpFix Homes, we believe the best approach is to build it right the first time — and still be there if something needs attention afterward.
Built right. Backed up. Simple as that.
We know hiring someone to work on your home takes trust. You want to know the job will be done well, and you want to know the company behind it will still be there after the dust settles.
That’s how we approach every project.
We take pride in doing solid, careful work from the start, especially on projects like deck replacements where structure, safety, and long-term performance matter. Most of our work never needs a follow-up. But if something does come up, we don’t disappear.
We’d rather build it right once than come back twice.
Our approach to workmanship
We’re not interested in rushing through jobs or cutting corners just to get in and out. We’d rather slow down, do the work carefully, and leave you with something that feels solid, clean, and well thought out.
To us, standing behind our work is not a marketing line. It’s part of doing business the right way.
That means:
- paying attention to details during the build
- communicating clearly when questions come up
- taking responsibility if a workmanship issue shows up afterward
A warranty should not be the main reason you feel confident hiring a contractor. The quality of the work should do that. But we still believe it matters to put our commitment in writing.
Our Workmanship Warranty
UpFix Homes provides a 1-year workmanship warranty on installation-related items.
This warranty covers issues that result directly from improper installation or workmanship performed by UpFix Homes.
This warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- manufacturer material defects
- damage caused by weather, misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
- natural expansion, contraction, checking, or movement in wood
- movement in existing structures or framing not built by UpFix Homes
- work not performed by UpFix Homes
If something comes up, reach out to us. We’ll review the issue and, if it falls within our workmanship coverage, we’ll make it right within a reasonable timeframe.
What this actually means for you
We like keeping things simple. If you ever have a concern about the work we performed:
- call or message us
- we’ll take a look
- if it’s a workmanship issue, we’ll address it
- no runaround, no finger-pointing, no disappearing act
