We are the co-founders of UpFix Homes. A locally owned and operated small business located in rural Brown county.
We started this journey after years of back and forth in the construction industry. Finally throwing in the towel Ian and I both found ourselves working at the same manufacturing facility. This is where we crossed paths and decided we could do some good in the construction industry.

We both consider ourselves to be a bit “techy”. Especially when it comes to your general construction spaces. So we gathered all the common complaints and looked for ways to systematize and automate tasks with technology. Work smarter not harder.
We also noticed a large need in our local areas where we live. Which happens to be in two different lake communities both located in Brown county. Lake Lemon and Cordry Sweetwater Lakes. We love the beautiful areas we live in and want to keep them that way.

We are both long time homeowners and maintenance service providers for our own households. This was a constant reminder of where our weekends will be spent for the foreseeable future. Let alone the growing ideas for improvements our wives were concocting.
Suffice it to say we felt the drain being a homeowner has on our families and spare time. Especially our weekends. We didn’t want that for our neighbors. They shouldn’t be spending their weekends stressing over their homes when they could be enjoying them.
